Summerland village is one of Lumiere Studio’s largest undertakings. The project includes 73 luxury apartments, including duplexes and penthouses, and the resort facilities residents can access such as a five-star Kempinski hotel, pools, an entertainment center, lounges, restaurants, bars and a marina. The hotel offers an indoor ballroom with a private sandy beach and pool island, an ideal location for weddings and special events. Business clients too have access to conference rooms and facilities. The resort village is located just five minutes from Downtown Beirut, and is bound to be a hub for tourists looking for entertainment and comfort. Residential blocs are divided into three sections – the Palms, the Oasis and the Dunes – each of which is lit respecting the architect’s original vision underscoring luxury, glamour and comfort. The Mediterranean resort theme is highlighted by a sprawling marina walkway that will remain lit with recessed fixtures at night. Selected lighting fittings for this grand-scale project consisted mainly of LED Engine, made in Italy. Due to its proximity to the coast, lighting fittings are aluminum corrosion resistant or made with stainless steel. The village beach resort includes a spa and private bungalows as well as a natural waterfall. Lumiere Studio, along with Hilights, is devising a lighting design for every aspect of the colossal project in close collaboration with architects and interior designers.
